A diplomatic building in Kathmandu has been considering retrofitting the properties on its compound to make them earthquake resistant. MCS has recently been engaged to review the engineering designs and specifications and then to assist the client in procuring the contractors to undertake the works. MCS will also be involved in monitoring the quality of construction. |

MCS is currently managing site supervision of enabling works associated with construction of a building for an international development agency. The work involves relocation of electrical and mechanical facilities and diversion of services. |

Turner & Townsend Project Management has recently employed MCS to carry out redesign work for the AJAX building. This building design is to be carried out following International building code (EURO code) and the detailing has to conform international standard. |

In common with large parts of Bangladesh Majher Char Village located in Baleswar River Off Motbaria was almost completely destroyed by cyclone SIDR in 2007 and with it the livelihoods of some 160 families living on the island. The British Business Group decided to reconstruct and transform this island to provide better quality of life to its inhabitants. MCS has been providing technical support in implementing this project.
